Appropriate primary, preventive and curative care is available to the entire community, especially the poorest.

Mission

• Make appropriate care accessible to all, especially the poorest (for example, by setting up mutual health plans)
• Lower the mother and child mortality rate
• Take preventive action by immunizing children and pregnant and nursing mothers and ensuring they are well nourished in a healthy environment
• Promote reproductive health (family planning)
• Afford better services to people living with HIV/AIDS
• Provide nurses with training in human and professional skills
• Engage competent medical and paramedical staff and ensure their capacities are strengthened
